ABOUT THE DIRECTOR

Hans Bachmann is excited to be directing again at the Lazy Susan. He has appeared at the Lazy Susan as Gaylord Ravenal in Show Boat, Emile de Becque in South Pacific, Adam Pontipee in Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, Edward Rutledge in 1776, King Arthur in Camelot, judge Wargrave in Ten Little Indians, and Sky Masterson in Guys & Dolls as well as having directed You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown, Show Boat, Witness for the Prosecution, Clue: the Musical, Appointment With Death, The Hollow, The Spitfire Grill, The Mousetrap, …Petent Leather…, Ten Little Indians, and Murder at the Vicarage. Hans has directed many other productions locally as well, including Closer Than Ever at Foundry Players, 42nd Street at American Music Stage, South Pacific, and Some Enchanted Evening at C.A.S.T. in McLean, Seven Brides for Seven Brother for McLean Theater Alliance, 42nd Street, and Evita at Rockville Musical Theater, and Our Town, and The Scarlet Pimpernel at Tantallon Community Players, to name a few. As an actor he has appeared locally at Ford’s Theater, The Folger Theater, Arena Stage, Signature Theater, The National Theater, and the Kennedy Center.
