Then sit back, relax, and enjoy a full scale Broad-way production, performed by experts.

Agatha Christie’s

"Spider's Web"
 January 8, 2010 through March 21st.

Clarissa, the second wife of Henry Hailsham-Brown, is adept at spinning tales of adventure for the delectation of their bored diplomatic circle– but when a murder takes place in her own drawing room– she finds live drama much harder to cope with, especially as she suspects the murderer may be her young stepdaughter, Pippa.  Worse still– the victim’s the man who broke up Henry’s first marriage. Moreover, Henry will be arriving home shortly with a V.I.P. in tow who might take a dim view of bodies in the drawing room.  Clarissa’s fast talking only gets her and Pippa into some hair-raising experiences.

When Henry finally arrives home with guest, well, let’s not spoil it.  Come enjoy SPIDER’S WEB.  You probably won’t figure out who “done” it,  but the show is a lot of fun, for mystery buffs and non-mystery buffs alike, and a terrifically entertaining evening is guaranteed for all!

“ So closely woven with thrills and comedy that shocks and laughs are about fifty-fifty.”   –  London Guardian

All this in the unique atmosphere provided by the Lazy Susan.

About The Author

Agatha Christie

It was written at the request of its star, Margaret Lockwood, whose main body of work was in films and who had never appeared in a West End production aside from Peter Pan. In 1953, Lockwood asked her agent, Herbert de Leon, to speak with Peter Saunders, who was the main producer of Christie's work on the stage after the successes of The Hollow and The Mousetrap, and see if Christie would be interested in writing a play for her.
